Julian has spent nearly 30 years leading transaction execution for companies. In his investment banking career, he managed over $75 billion of capital markets (IPOs, bonds, rights issues, SPACs) and M&A transactions across Europe. He founded The Deal Team in 2016 to provide professional transaction management services to corporates.
Julian is a Member of the Primary Markets Group practitioner advisory body to the London Stock Exchange, where he represents issuers’ views for equity and debt new issues. At The Deal Team, he leads all aspects of business strategy and client service delivery. Julian studied at the London School of Economics and speaks fluent Spanish.

Sophie has spent her professional career helping private equity and corporates to achieve their strategic goals by bringing them specialist industry and transaction expertise. At The Deal Team, Sophie engages private equity shareholders and financial intermediaries, giving management teams access to transaction expertise and support. She has previously brought expert insights to European mid-cap private equity as well as global large-cap private equity, sovereign wealth funds and institutional investors, to inform portfolio optimization and due diligence research.
Sophie studied at the University of Oxford and King’s College London.
Anthony has nearly 20 years’ experience consulting on change management in a finance function, with a particular focus on private equity and real estate transactions. As transaction project manager, he has delivered in-house execution management for nearly $30 bn of large and complex transactions. His deal experience ranges from $100m to a $13bn IPO/M&A dual track exit for a major private equity firm.
In addition to his role at The Deal Team, Anthony provides business as usual and change management consulting services in the finance function including post-transaction integration, governance, financial planning and analysis, tax and treasury, financial control, and reporting. Tony is a Chartered Accountant and studied at Aston University.
Stephanie has spent nearly 20 years executing equity and debt capital markets transactions (IPOs, bonds, rights issues, SPACs). Most of her career was spent as an execution deal captain for capital markets and M&A at bulge bracket investment banks, where she worked on more than 40 listings and capital raisings in London, across Europe and into the US and on M&A transactions in the UK and cross-border.
In addition to her role at The Deal Team, Stephanie advises financial and fintech startups on business strategy, investor materials, regulatory applications, and corporate development. She trained as an M&A and capital markets lawyer at Leiden University and studied Fintech and Blockchain at Oxford University. Stephanie speaks fluent Dutch and English as well as basic French and German.
Eveline has 22 years’ experience across private equity and technology sectors. Most recently, she led equity and debt transactions for private equity investments. She also oversaw operational governance and represented private equity shareholders as a Board Observer. Prior to this, she held P&L leadership roles at large multinational corporations, spearheading global strategic alliances, business development, post-merger integration and business turnaround initiatives.
Alongside her role at The Deal Team, Eveline advises technology businesses and is a Strategic Advisory Board Panel member at Electricity North West. Eveline studied at Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg, INSEAD and London Business School, and is fluent in German and English.
Benjamin has more than 20 years’ experience managing debt capital markets transactions for issuers and borrowers, ranging from corporate high yield and investment grade debt to term loans/leveraged finance and acquisition/bridge facilities. He has led high yield bond and loan capital markets teams at leading investment banks, where he was responsible for origination and execution of a huge range of corporate finance solutions. He has built extensive transaction management experience and has successfully led execution for more than 75 debt transactions across Europe and the US, often as lead left bookrunner and trusted advisor.
In addition to his role at The Deal Team, Benjamin advises clients on debt raising in the private markets. He studied at the University of Groningen and speaks fluent Dutch and English as well as basic German.
